At our December assembly we were treated to Christmas music from our WMS Choir and Band! We also had the privilege of recognizing our #GOALS students for getting caught doing good things and 2 of our teachers received a Cheers for Peers shout out from their co-workers. We ended the day with our Volleyball tournament. This is our good attendance/behavior/grades incentive event we hold each 9 weeks! Congratulations to the winning team - Unreal, and to all that participated! See post for pictures.

FREE MATH TUTORING!! The Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) is continuing the statewide virtual math tutoring initiative, the Oklahoma Math Tutoring Corps (OMTC). Tutoring is available for students in grades 7, 8, and 9 and will take place virtually outside of regular school hours beginning January 19, 2025. Students will participate in small groups of up to four students, attending 50-minute sessions three times per week. During each session, tutors will focus on providing grade-level mathematics support to reinforce key concepts and enhance students' understanding of current math topics. Please note that tutors will use provided instructional materials, and direct homework assistance will not be available. This year, OSDE is accommodating approximately 600 students in grades 7, 8, and 9. The program will run from January 19 – April 19, 2025. See flyer for details
