Due to slick and hazardous road conditions, Weatherford Public Schools will be closed today.

We are excited to have students back tomorrow after the three day weekend! Please have your student dress in layers as the bitterly cold temperatures are forecasted for at least one more day.

January is School Board Recognition Month. We are certainly thankful for our Weatherford School Board members and their willingness to serve our students, staff and community.

Today four 6th grade students represented Weatherford Public Schools at the state capitol celebrating the kickoff of the new Bessie Coleman All-Star Aviation Program. Weatherford is one of only three districts in the state to be piloting this program this spring. Weatherford Public Schools continues to be on the forefront of exciting opportunities in aviation and aerospace for its students!

Be sure to download the Weatherford Schools app! By doing so you will be able to receive important messages and celebrations. There is a function that will allow the app to notify you when a new message is sent.
