I was born and raised in Elk City, Oklahoma, where I graduated in 1986, After graduation I moved to Weatherford to attend Southwestern Oklahoma State University. In 1991, I obtained my BA in Social Science Education. My love of history came from my father, Quentin Feaster, who served in the Army during WWII and was a Pearl Harbor Survivor. I love southern food and culture because my mother, Vera Feaster, was born and raised in Louisiana. I have two sons, Quentin and Nolan. Quentin graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2017 and is a 2LT in the Oklahoma Army National Guard. Nolan is attends school at Weatherford High School. In my spare time I enjoy watching college and professional football and basketball. My hobbies include scrapbooking, painting, photography, and genealogy. You can on occasion catch me singing to myself or dancing because I DO enjoy music.
